Overview:
Studio IJM is a high-end interior design firm creating elevated residential and commercial spaces across global markets including the US, UK, and Dubai. The studio needed a digital presence that could match the caliber of its work — one that felt as considered and refined as the interiors it produces, while functioning as both a portfolio and a client-facing brand platform.
Role
I led the full design and development of the Studio IJM website, built in Webflow. My role spanned UX/UI design, front-end development, motion design, and CMS architecture — translating a premium interior design brand into a digital experience that commands attention.
Achievements
Designed and developed the full site end-to-end — from concept and UX through Webflow build and launch
Brought the portfolio to life with custom motion design, including scroll-based animations, a cinematic preloader, and seamless page transitions that eliminate the feel of a traditional website
Built a flexible CMS architecture supporting mixed media across projects — video and photography — without sacrificing performance or consistency
Delivered a polished, responsive experience across desktop and mobile that feels as refined as the work it showcases
Project Constraints
The design had to feel editorial and gallery-quality without sacrificing usability or load performance
The portfolio CMS needed to support mixed media — video and photography — without requiring custom code per project
Page transitions and animations had to remain smooth and non-disruptive across both desktop and mobile
The site needed to serve multiple international markets while maintaining a cohesive, singular brand voice
Impact
The finished site elevated Studio IJM's digital presence to match the quality of its physical work — creating a portfolio experience that feels immersive, intentional, and built for a discerning audience. The motion design and page transitions in particular set the site apart from typical design firm websites, reinforcing the studio's positioning as a top-tier creative practice.
