Joy of Mom is a digital platform and trusted community built for modern motherhood – combining personalized support, expert-backed content, meaningful connection, curated products, and an AI-powered co-pilot in one ecosystem. With over 3 million moms across social channels, Joy of Mom has become one of the most trusted destinations for motherhood support and one of the most engaged consumer audiences in the category.

The platform brings together community, content, commerce, and maternal intelligence into a connected experience designed to help moms navigate everyday life with more clarity, confidence, and support. At its core is a motherhood-trained AI system built on real maternal conversations and decision-making. Building toward an agentic co-pilot for motherhood – one that is synced to a mom’s life, anticipates needs, takes actions, and gives her back time for what matters most. A true operating system for motherhood, supporting everything from parenting decisions and emotional wellness to routines, logistics, product discovery, and the invisible load of family life.

Role

As Chief Product Officer, I led the product vision, strategy, design, and execution across the Joy of Mom ecosystem. I oversaw the end-to-end build and launch of the platform across web, mobile, content, and growth, while managing cross-functional teams across multiple states and countries. My role also extended into growth, partnerships, and fundraising, helping shape Joy of Mom as both a trusted community brand and a scalable consumer platform.

Achievements

  • Led the full product lifecycle across strategy, UX/UI, feature architecture, roadmap, and execution for Joy of Mom’s mobile, web, and content ecosystem

  • Owned the end-to-end build and launch of the Joy of Mom app across iOS and Android

  • Helped scale Joy of Mom to 3M+ moms across social channels, contributing to one of the largest trust-based motherhood audiences in the category

  • Drove $1M+ in partnership revenue through business development and strategic brand collaborations

  • Helped raise nearly $2M in capital by leading investor materials, pitch decks, financial models, and fundraising narrative

  • Directed go-to-market strategy across paid, organic, lifecycle, email, SMS, and social

  • Oversaw product, content, and growth alignment to drive installs, activation, and retention

  • Managed cross-functional teams across product, engineering, design, content, and marketing to bring the platform to market cohesively

Project Constraints

This work required building and scaling across multiple layers of complexity at once:

  • The platform needed to serve moms across many stages of motherhood, with needs ranging from emotional support to practical recommendations, content, and community

  • The product had to unify several experience layers – AI, community, content, commerce, and loyalty – into one ecosystem that felt cohesive and intuitive

  • Mobile, web, social, content, and growth all needed to work together as a connected system rather than as disconnected channels

  • The brand had already built large-scale trust on social, creating high expectations for quality, usefulness, and emotional relevance inside the product

  • The work required balancing startup speed with the operational demands of building a scalable consumer platform across distributed teams

Impact

My work helped shape Joy of Mom from a high-trust media and community brand into a broader product ecosystem spanning mobile, web, AI, content, growth, and commerce. By leading product, go-to-market, partnerships, and investor materials, I helped translate audience trust into a scalable platform designed for long-term engagement, revenue, and expansion.
